Our August Rosé Wine

La Vie en Rose by Lionel Osmin (France); 100% Négrette

From the producer: Négrette is one of the best grape varieties of the French Southwest for producing rosé wines. It creates a pale rose wine with fresh red berries and fruit drops on the nose. Full and refreshing on the palate, with the acidity and richness bringing out the very pleasant aromatic range, reinforcing the first impression on the nose. These bewitching fruity notes will make you see the world through rose-tinted glasses... “La Vie en Rose” as we sing in France...

Our August Red

Mas de Gourgonnier Les Baux De Provence (France); Cab Sauv, Grenache, Syrah, Carignan blend

From the producer: Coming from a small Provence appellation, Les Baux De Provence is centered around the deserted medieval town of Les Baux. The nose reveals notes of Provencal lavender, rosemary, thyme, plums, raspberries and black pepper. The palate is crisp and refreshing with great acidity and soft but firm tannins providing a solid backbone for the dark chocolate, spiced cherries and intriguing hints of ginger. This is a wine that begs for great food and great company. And the traditional Provencal bottle shape looks super cool the on the table!
