Halloween Cocktail Recipes With a Punch
If you’re throwing a party and want to provide great drinks you probably think you need to hire a bartender or do it yourself. But that means doing a lot of mixing, but little mingling with your guests. Here’s the solution: make a big batch of punch and pre-pour and garnish a few so that you can just refresh them once in a while rather than spend the night pouring.
Bowl of Blood
The dark color of currant makes this punch look like, well, a bowl of blood. It’s easy to make with only four ingredients! Recipe makes 6-8 drinks; scale as needed.
In a large bowl stir the brandy and sugar. Add the nectar and stir to combine. Pop in the fridge for about an hour (until cold) Add seltzer just before serving.
Bobbing for Apples Punch
This punch works for Halloween because of its name but can be served throughout autumn -- it’s a great addition to your Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving gathering, too. Makes 6 drinks.
In either a pitcher or punch bowl, combine all ingredients except for apple and let chill for no more than 12 hours. Serve over ice and garnish with apple slices (in punch and individual glasses)

Classic Cocktail Recipes with a Spooky Twist
Changing an ingredient or just a name can make a cocktail more suitable for Halloween and be lots of fun to write on an invite or menu. Here are two dark cocktails that are perfect, varied offerings for a party.
Dark & Stormy Night
This is a spicy drink sure to keep everyone warm and spirits high. This recipe makes 16 services.
At least a day before your party pour 8 cups of ginger beer into 4 ice cube trays and pop into the freezer.
Stir ginger beer, run, and lime juice together in a pitcher. Serve with 3-4 ginger beer ice cubes and garnish with lime.
This is an unexpected cocktail. It’s strange combo of ingredients and dark look, complex taste and texture and general awesomeness will also make it unforgettable! This halloween cocktail recipe is for 1 drink, so you’ll want to just stock up on the ingredients -- luckily they are simple and there’s only two!
Pour beer into a large flute or other tall glass. Slowly top with sparkling wine and then stir gently.
Martinis are festive… there’s just something about that glass and the way a drink looks in it that brings any party to the next level. Here are three great halloween cocktail recipes in the form of martinis. These take a little more work but are great for small gatherings.
Pumpkin Spice Martini
What’s Halloween (or Thanksgiving) without some pumpkin? The real pumpkin in this drink is the icing on the cake -- no artificial flavors. The recipe is for one drink, and it takes about 5 minutes to make.
Vampire Kiss Martini
Semi Homemade guru Sandra Lee created this champagne cocktail -- its transparency makes it an excellent one to finish with fun garnishes. This Halloween cocktail recipe yields one drink but is fairly quick and easy to make.
In a chilled martini glass, pour raspberry liqueur, vodka, and end with champagne. Garnish with any of the suggestions.
